Eaton Socon 2, Cherry Hinton 1

21st February 2015 :: Cambs FA County League Kershaw Premier

A fine back-to-back home win for Eaton was marred by the last minute sending off of the non-stop powerhouse Shane Maloney. Socon introduced new signing Josh Haynes, and welcomed back Glen Westbury much to everyone's delight. Askanazy and Westbury along with Kingsbury were causing problems making runs and generally held up play. Midway through the first half Shane Maloney raced through and calmley stroked home. Eaton then lost Haynes through injury, which resulted in a red card for the cherries' defender. Paul Knowles came on to make his first team debut (after eventually finding the club). In fact it was Knowles who scored the second goal with twenty minutes left. The cherries pulled one back in the last minute as Maloney was adjudged to deny. Goal scoring opportunity the forward fired home the resulting penalty.

James Storey was voted man of the match by the sponsors.
