Eaton Ressies 3 St Ives Rangers 0

On a freezing cold dull afternoon Eaton Ressies entertained an improved St Ives side.. the boys started very slowly but within 10 minutes they found there feet but not before losing the unlucky Ryan Barnett due to an unpunished badly timed tackle.. the boys however put that behind them and went one up through a tidy finish from Robert Gooch who was causing St Ives massive problems down the right. Eaton started playing some great stuff and Perri Ransley made space for himself to strike a swerving ball past the keeper to make it 2-0. Eaton then produced the move of the match when great work from mom Stockwell saw him link up with Grimes and his ball found forward Tom Baxter who slotted home. The game was all but done and the boys came out for the second half and remained disciplined.. however they couldn't quite extend the lead but the two Eaton centre halves of Cereveno and Howard and some steady hands from White ensured a clean sheet.. so 3 points for the Ressies and a good team performance all round and a happy Argyle and Kidd ..
