Hemingfords United Res. 3, Eaton Socon res. 5
9th September 2017 :: Cambs FA County League MPG 1B
A better result for Sammy and Alan's boys as they dominated large parts of game, however mistakes set in and the Ressies went one down. The boys then showed character and deservedly equalised through Sam Ward and one was soon two when Charlie Gough scored a neat chip. The lads went in at half time three up with Luke fox getting on the score-sheet with a deserved goal after a good bit of team play. Second half started with the Ressies being sloppy and the Ressies conceded, however this was not helped by an injury to keeper Simon White which hindered his ability to move. Again the Ressies showed character and Tommy hall scored a header, only for Hemingfords to respond with a penalty. The Ressies then sealed the game after a great delivery from Kyle Morris saw débutante Jason Chapman score with a header.
This was a much better performance from the lads but still stuff to work on. M.o.m was Andy Coles with what manager called a 10/10 performance.
