Eaton Socon 2, Cherry Hinton 2
13th August 2019 :: Cambs FA County League Kershaw Premier
A fantastic fight back at the Mick George stadium by the home side. The game was played in front of over 100 people. A frantic start by two excellent sides ended with skipper Woodend hitting the crossbar. It was the cherries who took the lead from the penalty spot and soon made it two. Eaton were still threatening and Rhys Thorpe nodded home just before the interval.
Manager Garwood rung the changes on the hour with Shephard, Hickling and Lee Griffiths were introduced and all three made a difference. It was that man Ben Hickling who produced a fine shot to equalise. Keeper Stefan Christopher Gallucci made some fine saves to keep the scores level.
Skipper Woodend was given the sponsors man of the match .
